Austin-Lehman Adventures Top 10 Best Biking Trails
Pine Creek into Paradise Valley – Montana | Big Sky, Yellowstone & Paradise Valley
Relax as you bike the smooth rolling hills along this trail. Its view of snowcapped mountains, which stands out against limitless sky and rolling green hills, is sensational.
Aero Island – Denmark | Danish Isles
Tom Litjens, one of our Europe guides, explains, “The soft rolling hills, beautiful little villages, and deserted beaches, make this a biker’s paradise.”
Going to the Sun Highway – Montana | Glacier National Park
Christy Hamill, from our office, suggests that you get an early start on this trail, “so you get to see nature as it is waking up while you pedal by… and the view is nothing but spectacular!”
Mosel River Trail - Germany | Mosel Valley
The castles, cathedrals, lush gardens, endless vineyards snuggled between the steep overgrown mountains and crystal clear Mosel River make this a favorite among cyclists.
Antelope Flats – Wyoming | Yellowstone/Teton
Bike below the ragged ridge of the Teton Mountains in a meadow of wildflowers as buffalo and elk graze along the path.
Kolob Terrances – Utah | Bryce/Zion
One of our guides, Toby Grapner, describes this trail as, “Breathtaking and immensely different from top to bottom.”
Vienna to Prague – Austria/Czech Republic | Vienna to Prague
Our guide, Kavya Bisz, says, “ I don’t know how many times I have biked the first day on the Vienna to Prague tour, between those little villages and "heurigen" - the local wineries. Every time it is different, because of the different little events that are offered along the trail.”
Green Lake – British Columbia | Whistler
Bike paved back roads and quiet trails through Whistler Valley and around Lost, Alta and Green Lakes
Michelson Trail – South Dakota| Black Hills to Mount Rushmore
Dark green ponderosa pines blanket gray granite slopes of the Black Hills. This trail, which takes you through the heart of the forest, is rich with beauty and history from Native Americans to goldmines and settlers.
Beautiful green clad-hills, scattered with Tuscan Villas, wineries and castles. Riding into San Gimignano is like riding into a fairy tale, this amazing city is purched up onto a steep hillside surrounded by a fortress. After riding, sit back and enjoy the amazing view from your balcony at La Cisterna.
