Austin-Lehman Adventures Top 10 Best Hiking Trails
Narrows Trail – Utah | Bryce/Zion
Toby Grapner, one of our guides, painted quite a mental image when he said, “Hiking in a river between 1000 ft. sandstone cliffs is pretty remarkable. Thinking about how the water has cut and shaped this famous slot canyon can leave you in awe of the power of nature!”
Llactapata Pass – Peru | Salkantay Lodge to Lodge
This hike offers a truly amazing view of Machu Picchu, which very few people ever have the chance to see. It’s a wonder that people could live on the peaks of these jaw-dropping cliffs.
Crow Creek Pass – Alaska | Kenai Peninsula
This unique hiking trail allows you to take a step back into the history of Alaska’s gold mining. Hike to an abandoned gold mine and explore all of the original gold digging equipment that was left behind.
Santorini Island – Greece | Athens & The Cyclades Islands

Wapiti Lake Trail to South Rim Trail – Yellowstone National Park
This hike supplies you with a large variety of scenes, such as numerous thermal features, scenic woodland views, and excellent opportunities to see wildlife. Glance over the rim of the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone and take in the view of 308-foot Lower Falls.
Kasha-Katuwe Tent Rocks National Monument Trail – New Mexico
Here is a hiking trail with a truly unique landscape, similar to something in outer space or perhaps a child’s sandbox. This trial walks you through cone-shaped, tent rock formations, varying in height from a few feet to 90 feet.
Bright Angel Trial – Arizona | Grand Canyon & Sedona Trip
This trail is a must for people who are setting out on their first hike of the Grand Canyon. It provides spectacular views of the Canyon and historical significance, while learning about the Havasupai Indians you can enjoy the solitude of the Canyon.
Exit Glacier Trail – Alaska | Kenai Peninsula
Christy Hamill, from our office explained, “The Exit Glacier Trail was challenging but the reward of hiking through the quietness of a cottonwood and alder forest, near waterfalls and across streams to the most amazing view of the glacier and surrounding mountains that take your breath away.”
Iceberg Lake Trail – Montana | Glacier National Park
This well-groomed trail offers some of Glacier’s best scenery, with a view of extraordinarily uneven rock cliff mirrored in a crisp clear glacier lake.
Sentinel Pass – Alberta | Banff to Jasper
There are awe-inspiring views, around each bend of the switchbacks, on this trail. Enjoy the mix of difficulties and superb views of broad valleys and ridged mountain peaks.
