EMS currently operates 65 stores in 13 states from Maine to Virginia. In 2011, Will Manzer, CEO of Eastern Mountain Sports, received the Outdoor Industry Association inaugural OIA Advocacy Leadership Award for outstanding service on behalf of the industry. Annually, since 2008, the company has pledged $100,000 in contribution to The Conservation Alliance, a group of outdoor industry companies that support grassroots environmental organizations and conservation projects throughout North America.
