Austin-Lehman Guide: Eric Keely
Back to Guide Pages >>
![]() |
Short Bio: Eric was born and raised along the Allegheny Mountains in Western Pennsylvania. Whether he was canoeing down the Allegheny River, boating in Tionesta or mountain biking and camping with his buddies, Eric was always a fan of the outdoors. He received his degree in Communications Media at Indiana University of Pennsylvania in which a radio dj job brought him to the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Another wonderful place for outdoor lovers, the Outer Banks was his home for the better part of a decade. He has been a radio dj, bartender, restaurant assistant manager, musician, roofer, beer vendor and now his travels have brought him to Austin Lehman Adventures. Eric will always display a positive attitude. He loves to laugh, a die-hard fan of sports, may be a little goofy from time to time but will never stray away from showing guests of Austin Lehman Adventures the vacation of a lifetime.
Trips Guided by Eric:
- Wyoming Yellowstone/Tetons Adult and Family Vacation
- Montana- Big Sky, Yellowsotne & Paradise Valley
- Yellowstone- Adult and Family
- Bryce/Zion Family
- Alaska Adventure Vacations
What’s your favorite vacation destination?
Alaska for sure. It's almost like you are on another planet. The mountains, the glaciers and the atmosphere up there will blow you away. Watching a tidewater glacier calve is one of the most amazing things I've ever seen.
What’s your favorite bike ride?
It's a tie between the Girdwood to Bird Point ride in Alaska (or as I call it and sing it to guests, the Gird to Bird, Gird Gird Gird, G-Gird to Bird) and Antelope Flats to Mormon row with a spectacular view of the Grand Tetons.

What’s your favorite hike? What’s your favorite trip to guide? Why? What do you do that makes a guest’s vacation special? Favorite Movie: Transformers (2007) Favorite Book: To Kill A Mockingbird Favorite Song: Depends on my mood, music is a big part of my life Favorite Outdoor Activity? Snorkeling in Maui. Describe the most amazing experience you’ve had while guiding a trip: When did you first catch the travel bug? |
