Top-of-the-Line Equipment
We use high quality, expertly maintained adventure gear and equipment on all Austin-Lehman Adventure trips. Our equipment meets strict performance and durability standards. Each piece is meticulously cleaned and inspected during and between trips. From top-notch bikes to spotless vans and specially designed trailers, we provide top-of-the-line adventure gear from the leaders within the industry.
Vans & Trailers
Our vans are expertly maintained and inspected to ensure your safety and comfort. By limiting our group size to 12 or fewer, we guarantee every guest a comfortable seat in the van. Our custom designed trailers carry all of your luggage, our groceries, spare parts and tools on our trips. Our bike racks allow quick access to your bike at any time.
Bicycles
We proudly offer use of Cannondale Adventure 3 comfort cycles, custom fitted for each of our guests. These high performance bikes are equipped with Rock Shox i-Ride suspension, SRAM and Shimano components and Cannondal SuperCush saddles. Rest assured, you'll ride comfortably and safely. We also now offer electric bicycles on our Euorpean Biking Tours, “With e-bikes now anyone, regardless of age, strength or ability, will be able to take on even the most strenuous tour itinerary.” said Ron Van Dijk- Director of European OperationsFor Austin-Lehman Family Adventures we offer children's sized mountain bikes as well as tag-alongs that fit precisely our adult bikes.
Bike Helmets
For your safety, we require the use of ANSI-approved helmets. For comfort, we recommend bringing your own. If you don't have a helmet, we'll be happy to provide you with one free of charge.On-the-Road Bike Service
We install the appropriate tires for trail and road biking. Each bike is also equipped with a rear pack, handlebar bag with map holder and a 28 oz. water bottle (yours to keep). With six different frame sizes to choose from, you're guaranteed a precise fit to your body.
