When it comes to adventure vacations for couples, my wife and I will always choose Austin Lehman. We’ve been on 8 bike trips, and I have to say that our European vacation to La Loire in France was by far the best of them all. The timing of the trip and all activities was perfect, and the food, ah, it was superb! Without exception, our guide, Ron, was the most informed and nicest guide we’ve ever had in any of our groups, and having been on 8 guided cycling tours, that says a lot! Thanks for such a wonderful time, and we definitely plan on joining Austin Lehman again next year.

Having already experienced a few Austin Lehman adventures in the states, we thought we would try one of the adventure tours to Europe. We chose Denmark for our destination, and I couldn’t have been happier with such hassle free foreign travel. We definitely had access to sites and places that as tourists unfamiliar with the country, we would never have found on our own. Cycling tours are definitely on our top 10 list of vacations, but the only drawback was that many times we arrived at restaurants in our bike clothes. I would have appreciated being able to change prior to attending some of the venues. Other than that, looking forward to planning our next adventure trip to Scotland and Ireland….with Austin Lehman of course!

Our Yellowstone Park Adventure was the best vacation we’ve ever taken. We loved the “red carpet” and surprise snacks. I don’t think we have laughed so much or really enjoyed each other’s company while on the road. What a great group of people! I can’t say enough kind things about our guides, Michael and Blair. Our group was small so there was a lot of one on one time. Our two guides were the nicest people I think I’ve ever met. It really felt like we had known them forever. Austin Lehman is a class act from start to finish. I was a last minute booking on the Utah Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park trip, and they bent over backwards to make our adventure vacation work. Lifelong Austin Lehman traveler here – you guys are 5 for 5 on another outstanding adventure trip! We had such a great time at Montana’s Glacier National Park, and I can confidently say we have another set of lifetime experiences all created in just one week away! I loved the view at the hotel, and the Lake McDonald Lodge had great cabins with unbelievable views. And as with every other adventure vacation, your guides made great connections with the guests. I’ve never shared a story online before, but with the outstanding Montana vacations that Austin Lehman arranges, I just had to tell others about my family’s experience. I have to say that the trip was outstanding in every way. I could never have planned such a trip for my family. They were right on the mark in their planning from start to finish. Our three guides were very patient with my teenagers and the younger kids on the trip, and you couldn’t ask for more kind and responsive guides for all the families attending. After my son-in-law passed away two years ago, my grandson has really had a rough time dealing with the loss of his father. My daughter and I thought a little one on one time with grandpa would be a great way for us to connect. One of her coworkers told her about adventure trips from Austin Lehman so after looking through your catalog we thought a Montana family vacation would be just right.
I really have to commend your company on a trip well done. As a matter of fact, my grandson didn’t want to go home at the end, and his time spent white water rafting really brought a smile to his face. With horseback riding, rafting and time at the pool while at Chico Hot Springs, it was really hard to pull him away. I was just glad to see him full of excitement and joy of living again. When my family and I decided to try a European vacation this last summer, I wasn't sure what to expect. But Austin Lehman really put our minds at ease. From the moment we booked our travel plans, they handled everything with such professionalism. After much consideration we felt that we would like to include our love of biking in our travel plans, and try one of the cycling tours.
The idea of visiting small towns and museums while riding through the countryside seemed like just the getaway we needed so we chose Germany for our adventure vacation. I have to say from the moment we arrived in Trier, Germany, we were overwhelmed with all the beauty and majesty of the country. Although, the first day of biking from Luxemburg to Trier was just a little too long, overall we couldn't have asked for a better trip. The guides, Luuk and Tom, were so friendly and made everyone feel right at home. I've never experienced two people that were so sensitive to the needs of the group like they were.
One of my favorite parts of the trip was touring all the little villages. You can get lost in all the little shops and meandering pathways. As far as hotels, the stay in Cochem was wonderful with picturesque views, beautiful hotel room and extremely tasty restaurant.
Now I can’t wait to try one of the family adventure vacations so we can bring along our kids. We would love to try the Alaska tour next!
