Greetings friends and fellow globetrotters,

Austin-Lehman Adventures is once again honored to have been selected as one of the TOP (very top) Tour Operators in the World, in this year's Travel + Leisure's World's Best Award .  We are ranked an impressive #2,  that's four years straight as a Top 5 finisher. You might remember that we made it all the way to #1 in 2009, world's best! What an honor, thanks to everyone of our faithful alumni who voted. Yes that's right, this award is 100% based on feedback and scoring by past travelers such as yourself.  We are indeed grateful! YOU are why we do what we do and strive to do it so well./p>

What really impresses and humbles me is the Who's Who List of Adventure Travel Companies that didn 't fare as well.  Household names for decades.  Maybe there is something to that old adage "bigger isn't necessarily better".  By the way, the #1 Tour Company in the World this year is our dear friend and fellow Trusted Adventures Alliance member Peter Grubb and his company ROW Adventures, another smaller, customer-centric, owner- involved company.  Seems like that car rental company said it best...  We are #2 and we will try harder!  Nothing could be truer.  You can trust that we will continue to look for ways to exceed your wildest expectations. Who knows? With diligent effort, a little luck and your ongoing support we are shooting for #1 in 2013!
