Pedal past wildflower-studded meadows and thundering waterfalls en route to the gold rush town of Hope and take in the vastness of the Chugach National Forest as you hike a portion of the Iditarod trail.
Alaska Adventures: Best of the Greatland
Alaska adventure travel that takes you deep into the heart of the Kenai Peninsula... Enjoy a scenic train ride on the famous Alaska Railroad heading south to Seward. In Seward, board a ferry for a short cruise to Fox Island where you'll discover porpoises, sea lions and whales along the shore and in the coves of Resurrection Bay by kayak. Take a small ship for a Kenai Fjords Glacier & Wildlife Cruise. You'll bike ride into Kenai Fjords National Park, hike Exit Glacier Overlook Trail or hike to Harding Ice Field before you dine on a gourmet meal overlooking Seward Harbor.
