Carl out Cycling on an Austin-Lehman adventureGuide: Carl Lee-McLellan
Short Bio: Carl has been fascinated by working in and exploring the natural world for a very long time. He received an honors degree in Outdoor Recreation and began a career working with at-risk youth. Through this work, he saw the profound effects our natural world can have on the human condition first-hand. This solidified his desire to share the natural world with as many people as possible.

Carl confesses that guiding for Austin-Lehman Adventures keeps him on his toes: guest expectations are very high, challenging him to keep looking for that new trail or even a quaint picnic site. He also enjoys delivering surprise tasty treats in the most unlikely locations for guests, such as six miles into the backcountry or nestled beside a panoramic vista. Carl and his wife have been guiding for Austin-Lehman for a combined 17 years in Canada, the US, Mexico and Central America. Carl says, "We continue to guide for ALA because of their commitment to adventures of the highest caliber."

  1. Canadian Rockies - Rocky Mountain Multisport
  2. Canadian Rockies Family - Mighty Peaks to Mountain Goats
  3. Okanagan Valley - Canada's Wine Country
  4. Mexico - Chiapas - Rainforests to Ruins
  5. Mexico - Oaxaca - Food & Festivals
