Yellowstone Guide Kasey Austin
Back to Guide Pages >>Guide: Kasey Austin
Short Bio: Kasey was born in Alaska and raised in Billings, MT. She is currently attending the Unversity of Montana in Missoula on a Presidential Leadership scholarship where she is studying elementary education. She plans to teach 4th or 5th grade in the future. She volunteers with Missoula's very own Flagship program which is an after school program designed to help kids early on to stay out of trouble. On the weekends, she loves to backpack, ski, or just plain enjoy herself in Montana's beautiful outdoors!
A high acheiver, Kasey graduated from high school as class valedictorian with a 4.0 GPA. She was a leader of the BWHS Majorettes and also a leader of her dance team.
For the past four summers she has worked at Austin-Lehman Adventures in the Billings office. This year she will be guiding one Yellowstone trip, which, as she says, "I'm totally stoked about!"
Kasey has been fortunate to take quite a few Austin-Lehman trips since she was 6 six years old and has traveled all around the Western US and Canada. She's also visited exotic locales such as Peru, Ecuador, the Galapagos Islands, and Costa Rica. In July, Kasey will be accompanying her family to Europe for a biking trip.
