Enjoy a guided walking tour of historic Santa Fe, the oldest capital city in North America before you travel to Bandelier National Monument for a hike along Frijoles Creek to the ruins of the Tyuonyi and Tsankawi pueblos.  Take lunch at a ceremonial cave decorated in ancient petroglyphs before you explore excavated pueblo ruins, climb ladders into hillside cliff dwellings and learn about Puebloan culture from a native guide.  Push yourself on a morning bike ride to Cochiti Dam, one of the ten largest earth-fill dams in the U.S. containing over 65,000,000 cubic yards of earth and rock. Shuttle to Tent Rocks State Park for a picnic and hike Cave Loop Trail along sage grass and conical volcanic “tuffs,” past ruins to a scenic overlook.  Dinner will feature innovative Southwestern cuisine and a fabulous wine list. Strap on your helmet for a downhill bike ride to the banks of the Rio Grande before heading to Pilar, New Mexico where you will whitewater raft Big Rock, the Narrows and Souse Hole rapids. Head out for some road biking with dirt single-track options.  Hike Taos Ski Area where you will trek through alpine forest along the Bull of the Woods Trail, situated below the 13,161-foot Wheeler Peak, New Mexico’s highest summit. Bike downhill along a gravel road to explore the sleepy town of Arroyo Seco, New Mexico.  Return to Taos to unwind before a savory farewell dinner at the elegant and award-winning Joseph's Table, deemed "unmissable!" by the New York Times.
