Jul 02 2008Austin-Lehman Adventures is creating its own fireworks by exploding the myth that travel’s too expensive this year. It’s offering a $300 per person rebate toward the travel costs of getting to its gateway cities for three of its North American itineraries aimed at active travelers.
To receive this benefit a guest must book by Sep. 1, 2008 and travel by Oct. 12, 2008. The destinations are
- Okanagan Valley – Canada's Wine Country: gateway city Kelowna, BC; departures for 6-day/5-night trip: Sept. 7 and Sept. 14; per person double rate $2,998, single supplement $880
- Bryce Zion - Red-Rock Wonders: gateway city St. George, UT; departures for 6-day/5-night trip: Sept. 28 and Oct. 5 and 12; per person double rate $1,898; single supplement $525
- New Mexico – Poblanos, Peaks & Pueblos: gateway city Santa Fe, NM; departures for 6-day/5-night trip: Sept.7 and Sept. 14; per person double rate $1,998; single supplement $680
ALA, the multi-sport travel company that specializes in immersive travel experiences, manages all of the arrangements in its selected destinations. Small groups are held at 12 guests with a ratio of one guide to every six participants. Rates include first-class accommodations, most meals, expert guides, park entry fees, multisport activities such as hiking, biking, rafting, horseback riding and more, ground transportation and luggage service. Not included is round trip travel to the host city which is now being partly subsidized by this special offer.
