A private cruise ship, the sixteen passenger Athala II offers a small yacht atmosphere with comfortable accommodation, a dedicated cruise director to ensure personalized service, and spacious social areas including: a large dining room, lounge with modern technology for presentations, and an al fresco area with outdoor bar. The sundeck is great for whale and dolphin spotting or relaxing in the Jacuzzi. In the evening there is no better place for stargazing. Nights 6 & 7: Galapagos Safari Camp
Galapagos Safari Camp, a luxury tented camp nestled in the wild highlands of Santa Cruz Island, offers an authentic inland experience with stunning views over the Pacific Ocean and the National Park Tortoise Reserve. The brainchild and passion of Michael and Stephanie Mesdag, the idea of the Camp was thought up when the couple climbed a tree on the property before the arrival of their two children who now live them onsite. Located on an incredibly remote 135 acre private tract of land, the Camp consists of one main lodge as well as nine canvas tents spread across the property. Relax in the infinity pool or choose amongst one of the many personalized activities that the Camp offers. This is your vacation and what you do here is your decision!

Galapagos Islands Vacations

A few more reasons why you've gotta go...

  1. The ability to step back in time. Explore a small section of the world that has experienced little human impact allowing for you to observe scenes that Charles Darwin may have witnessed when he explored the islands as a geologist /naturalist over 170 years ago.
  2. The majesty of the rich underwater world. Swimming, snorkeling, and kayaking are all ways for you to discover the sheer vastness of the ocean, the colors that lie beneath the surface, and the variety of wildlife that call this pristine place home.
  3. The wildlife, the wildlife, the wildlife. Come find species that don’t exist anywhere else in the world and observe them up close as the fauna of these islands have never learned to fear humankind. From the unique Galapagos penguin to the sun-basking land iguana, you’ll spot all kinds of animals up close and personal!
