Distinctive Accomodations
5 days/4 nights

Night 1: Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel
This hotel was named after the steaming limestone terraces just above the hotel. Elk routinely graze outside the hotel around the parade grounds of what was once Fort Yellowstone.

Nights 2 & 3: Old Faithful Snow Lodge
Completed in 1999, the Snow Lodge is the newest of the park’s full service hotels, and features heavy timber construction, exterior log columns and a cedar shingle roof, making it a significant example of classic “parkitecture”.

Night 4: Chico Hot Springs Resort
This rustic-chic inn and day spa boasts mineral hot spring-fed pools, extensive gardens, spa services and exceptional dining. In June of 1999, Chico Hot Springs was listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Dogsledding in Yellowstone

A few more reasons why you've gotta go...

1. Yellowstone is the country's first National Park.  It's spectacular year-round, but a particular treat in the winter.

2.  Dog sledding has been around for over 4,000 years. While it is most commonly known as a sport nowadays, it was originally used by ancient tribes as a way to move loads over long distances. The most famous dog sled race is the Iditarod, a 1,000 mile, 9-15 day trek that takes place in Alaska every March.

3.  The Dining Room at Chico Hot Springs offers fantastic fare, some of the best in Montana.  They use vegetables from their own gardens, local meats, and fresh, flown-in-that-day seafood.
