Utah Bike Tours - Canyonlands National Park

A wild array of canyons, spires, buttes and pinnacles
Canyonlands National Park: over 500 square miles of steep, river-carved canyons, bright orange mesas, buff sandstone pillars and spectacular natural arches. The terrain here - an intense palette of reds, yellows, oranges and browns - so surreal it looks as though Salvador Dali could have painted it.
Welcome to your six day biking adventure through Southeastern Utah's legendary Canyonlands. Pedal between burnt-orange, sheer-walled canyons and enormous white-rimmed sandstone towers on a road snaking through Colorado National Monument. Marvel at how itty-bitty you feel as you hike through looming, crimson rock formations at Fisher Towers. Bike to Newspaper Rock, where ancient petroglyphs remain etched in stone, a glimpse into the rituals and beliefs of the Fremont, Anasazi, Navajo and Anglo communities of thousands of years past.
At the end of the day, reward yourself with a massage and a hearty dinner before retiring to the comfort of your home for the week, the Red Cliffs Lodge, nestled beneath 2,000 foot cliffs on the banks of the Colorado River.

Sitting at the foot of the dramatic Red Rock Cliffs and along a bend in the Colorado River known as White's Rapid, Red Cliffs Lodge is the prime destination for relaxation and adventure. It's a classic, rugged Western landscape worthy of Hollywood, and was in fact the site of numerous films, including the John Wayne classic, Rio Grande.
A few more reasons why you've gotta go...
1. Moab: It isn't an American mountain biking mecca for nothing!
2. The history: Learn about the vast geological history of the area and how it still serves as an outdoor laboratory for scientists from all over the world.
3. Upheaval Dome: The controversy over how this remarkable impact structure was formed make this quite an ecological anomaly.
4. Newspaper Rock: A petroglyph panel etched in sandstone that records perhaps 2,000 years of human activity in the area.
