From the Field: Arizona Vacations
"Arizona and the Grand Canyon will always have a special place in my heart. It was 1996 when I ran one of my first trips to the area. Now, 10 years later, I'm exited to report that nothing's changed - I'm struck with the same feeling of awe and excitement as I scout for this new program. When it comes to the Grand Canyon, nothing compares."

Arizona: Grand Canyon and Sedona Tours High Desert Country Adventure

From Sedona to one of the 7 Natural Wonders of the World, Arizona's scenery is nothing short of spectacular
Climb Red Butte, or what the Havasupai Indians refer to as the sacred Wii'i Gdwiisa, "clenched fist mountain," for 360-degree views of Grand Canyon National Park. Hike Bright Angel Trail along shady creek beds, keeping an eye out for big horn sheep. Trek deep into the Grand Canyon to an overlook at Ooh Aah Point before descending 1,200 feet through 40 million years of geological history to Cedar Ridge.
Explore the pueblos, field houses, rock art and pottery of the Wupatki ruins, once home to prehistoric Anasazi and Sinagua farmers and traders. Hike to the Eagle's Nest for expansive views of Sedona, the Mogollon Rim and the Verde River Valley. Visit the village of Tlaquepaque for some of the best shopping the Southwest has to offer and walk in the footsteps of Hollywood stars on the breathtaking "set" of Red Rock Crossing.
By night, savor a festive dinner at a local hot spot or a home cooked meal and a s'mores around the fire before calling it a night in the comfort of your lodge or luxury campsite.
