Holland - Highlights of Holland Biking Vacation

The best of the Netherlands in five days
With its flat terrain, stunning springtime flowers, sandy beach coasts and countless fietspaden (bike paths), there’s no better way to explore Holland than by bicycle.
Ride through Rembrandt’s birthplace of Leiden, a 17th century town rich in character and home to the Netherlands’ oldest university, and chat with a group of friendly students in a lively square over a Dutch pancake lunch. Explore the work of the Dutch Masters at the Mauritshuis Art Museum in The Hague and admire Mesdag’s 19th century 400-foot-long Scheveningen landscape, depicting the city as it was in 1881. In April and May, pedal alongside meadows blanketed in tulips, hyacinth and daffodils – a tapestry of coral, pink, purple and yellow as fragrant as it is colorful – and explore the magnificent gardens and flower fields of the Keukenhof.
By night, enjoy a leisurely dinner of local specialties and relax in the comfort of your Noordwijk hotel.
