Quotes From the Field:
“We are still in awe of all we saw and experienced, but it is your guides we can't stop talking about. Each fulfilled a special role and each was special in his or her own right. We're going to request them when we travel next, because, as my kids say, 'there's no party without Matty K!'”

Distinctive Accommodations
6 days/5 nightsNight 1: Old Faithful Inn
This historic inn was built during the winter of 1903-04 and is one of the last log hotels in use in the United States. The lobby of this national historic landmark features a 65-foot ceiling and a massive rhyolite fireplace.
Night 2: Lake Yellowstone Hotel
Lake Yellowstone Hotel was completed in 1891 and restored to its 1920s grandeur in 1990. The majestic hotel sits on the shore of Yellowstone Lake and is listed on the Register of Historic Places.
Nights 3 & 4: Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel
This hotel was named after the steaming limestone terraces just above the hotel area. Elk routinely graze outside the hotel, around the parade grounds of what was once Fort Yellowstone.
Night 5: Chico Hot Springs Resort
This rustic-chic inn boasts mineral hot spring-fed pools, extensive gardens, spa services and exceptional dining. In June of 1999 Chico Hot Springs was listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
A few more reasons why you've gotta go on a Yellowstone family vacation…
1. For the memories: Family experiences like these are what life is all about.
2. The elusive Yellowstone wolf: Keep your eyes peeled to spot one on a morning hike up Bunsen Peak.
3. It's the best of both worlds: While parents dine in quiet luxury, the kids have a pizza party at Chico's huge hot spring pool.
4. Paradise Valley: There's no better way to experience the setting The Horse Whisperer – than on horseback.
